In the fall of 2003, PHSA undertook a unique strategic planning process in which the overall strategic plan for the health authority was developed in tandem with the plans of its component agencies and programs -- including BC Mental Health & Addiction Services. The plans of one "shaped and were shaped by" the plans of the other.

Endorsed by the PHSA board of directors in April 2004, and most recently updated in 2007, the BCMHAS Strategic Plan will guide our organization over the next five years as we move closer to our vision of "Province-wide solutions. Better health."
