 Measuring Our Performance

Inner courtyard at Forensic Psychiatric Hospital, Colony Farm The Forensic Psychiatric Services Commission has a three-year plan for implementing performance indicators to reflect the diversity of services provided across the province of British Columbia. The framework developed for the Commission is based on an organizational commitment to being:

  • Client-centered
  • Evidence-based
  • Outcomes-focused

Accreditation

The Forensic Psychiatric Hospital was the first facility of its kind to receive Accreditation Status from the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation. Accreditation is a key element in the Forensic Psychiatric Services Commission's ongoing Quality Improvement Program.
