Urgent Assessment Clinic

The Urgent Assessment Clinic provides prompt psychiatric assessment and short-term treatment recommendations for children and youth (up to age 16) who require urgent outpatient assessment, where local resources are unavailable or inadequate. The clinic is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including three psychiatrists, a clinical social worker, a nurse clinician and psychiatric residents. Patients must be referred by a physician or mental health agency.
