  • HandsOnScotland is an online resource that provides practical information and techniques on how to respond helpfully to children and young people's troubling behaviour, build up their self-esteem and promote their positive mental wellbeing.The website was commissioned by the Scottish government through HeadsUpScotland and was developed by Playfield Institute (NHS Fife) in partnership with Barnardo's and the University of Dundee. www.handsonscotland.co.uk

    The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) site provides information for families and psychiatrists about developmental, behavioral, emotional, and mental disorders affecting children and adolescents. They have over a variety of topics on Facts for Families in order to promote an understanding of mental illnesses and remove the stigma associated with them.
